Our Impact
Our Impact
Since our founding in 1993, Stop the Violence Foundation has been a powerful force for healing, hope, and transformation in Southern California communities. Our work is rooted in grassroots engagement, real relationships, and a commitment to long-term change.
- Stop the Violence has impacted more than 32,300 lives through on-the-ground outreach, education, and crisis intervention—offering a hand of support in neighborhoods affected by violence, poverty, and trauma. Whether through workshops, street outreach, or family support services, our message is clear: peace is possible.
- Stop the Violence has impacted more than more than 16,000 youth, providing consistent guidance, leadership development, and life-skills training. Many of these young people were at a crossroads—and because of this program, they’ve chosen purpose over pain, peace over violence, and leadership over fear.
- Stop the Violence has
partnered with over 170 community allies, including schools, churches, grassroots groups, and public agencies. Together, we’ve built a united front that believes in prevention over punishment, community over crisis, and healing over harm.
“Every number represents a life touched, a family supported,
and a community made stronger.”
